Teamviewer works great! I installed it on my computer and Helen's netbook
and could run it from here on my main desktop. I ran Malwarebytes and
Microsoft Security Essentials to make sure it's cleaned and tuned before
she gets back. I can see it fine on this 24" monitor.

Got my own little remote tech support going. 'Course I added Helen's,
Curly's, and Diane's machines without their knowledge or consent.
Curly and Diane had to go to Orlando on Curly's business yesterday and
I had to go let the dogs out. Installed Teamviewer on both machies
while I was over there. Shut Diane's machine back off but Curly had left
his on so I left it on when I got down and came back home and
accessed it from here. Didn't need to do anything though, I'd already
fixed it the other day while he was gone.

Well, that's interesting. The host comuter doesn't have to give you access and you can just log in without consent? We have netmeeting on our laptops at work and we have to give access to IT to take control.

We can also log onto a customer's scanner and watch them scan as if we were there and take control if necessary (customer has to allow it of course).
Once we are in, we can invite others (software engineering) to watch with us through Microsoft communicator.

Looks like it has the potential to do that, of course if you set it up that way you've
already given consent. I haven't set any up that way yet but may one fo my own.
So far I've chosen the "Do not start when Windows starts" so it has to be opened
first on the host. Also, it throws a new password each time it opens but that can
be set for a permanent password.

I'm about to leave the idea behind, tried to see what was wrong on Honey's netbook
yesterday, she had something wrong with the email. I got it fixed but heard her say
"Well why's that little thing sticking up?" and then she closed it and I lost contact.
She didn't know I didn't just quit and I didn't tell her.
