I finally got around to working on it Monday. Still sore, real sore.
Forgot how hard the work was if you leave the mower on the ground
to work on it. Don't have a bench like I had at the small engine repair
place had.

Carburetor had crap in it, nasty stuff. Doesn't come apart but I got most
of it out with my finger. The carburetor had five damn screws, two
gaskets and a rubber O ring. Put it back together after cleaning and
found the rubber O ring under a rag. Got it on the table.

Might try putting the mower on the dining table next time, don't know.
Too damn old for this bending over, can't see the screw heads very well.
Probably won't do this any more. Might just buy a new one.
Still have found the vocational tech school here to see if they have a
small enging course. Usually the ones attending have trouble finding a
mower to work on, might could slide one or two of mine throught there
if I can find it. Oh well.

Damn hard labor sucks and it hurts! Good thing I make decent money cause I'm not working on anything like that. I take that back..Put our grill together and it took 6 hours. Sore for days laying in awkward positions with bloody fingers. Won't make that mistake again.

Well, hope it runs well for the rest of the year!
