Bout that time of year again. Probably going with Tax Act like last year. It should be even simpler this year since they can port a lot of my info in.

Gotta call Capital One this week. They sent me an interest income statement saying I earned $128 in interest this past year. I have no idea where they got that number. They are our credit card company and I had a money market fund there a couple of years ago that I basically diluted. I get a statement from them once a month saying my balance is 3 cents. I have asked them to quit killing trees and sending me statements. I'll probably just have them send me a check for 3 cents!

I'm in complete agreement, it's TaxAct for me this year again.

Didn't do the deep research I did before but the top price was
under $20 with all the forms. Starts at $15. Not really any
way for any of them to excel, it's just a tax form.

Not sure about the Cap 1 1099INT, maybe it was $.0128
If it was something that wasn't 1099INT I'd just ignore it.
You're not required to report anything less than $10 and it
would have to be less than that.
