It looks like it's going to be President Obama. Here's the just out Karl Rove map
and estimated electoral college vote. 338 Obama, 200 McCain.

Yep, looks like a rout and he might just win North Carolina too. I guess I can live with it and I'm actually more afraid of a filibuster proof Congress. Happy voting..

For some reason I don't feel any certitude like I did both times Bush was elected.
Maybe that's good and I just feel how inevitable it is when it's going badly.

You can forget the idea going around that there might be problems with a filibuster proof
majority with democrats in charge. Democrats are a more diverse group and won't
stick together. They're terribly independent and it seems they're not able to all stick
together just to win. It's like they are really more than one party.
Republicans are much more likely to give up their own beliefs for unity.

Well, that was a landslide..I guess we'll see how he does. I expect we'll have more than a few cabinet members who's names we won't be able to pronounce..

Campaign officials said Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel
was the front-runner to be Obama's chief of staff. The advisers spoke
on a condition of anonymity because the announcement had not yet been
made.
