I started with the 1099s and put the ones I had on a page in the right order to get ready
to enter. I found where I had all of them except:

Newell Rubbermaid - I have one of the two 1099 forms but I add both together to
enter it in so I still need the other one before I can go on.

Here's the ones I haven't found yet:

Ameritrade
AT&T symbol T - Previously Southwestern Bell
Bristol-Myers Squibb
Darden
Delmonte
Janus
Liz Claiborne
Newell Rubbermaid
Pepsico
Wachovia

I had some stuff I'd got in the mail that I hadn't resolved what to do with or disagreed with
and was waiting to see I got more info on. It didn't look good piled up on the table next to
my chair so I put it in a square box, magazine holder or something that Helen had sitting
next to the table. She told me yesterday that she was cleaning the tub/box whatever and
piled the stuff in my chair. (I forgot it was there and wondered why Curly didn't sit down
when he visited, Helen laid in her recliner and ignored it I guess)

She went to work today. The box was gone. I put it all in a Target plastic bag and put
that in the other magazine box on the other side of my chair. Maybe some of it's there,
probably not. Some I've kept records of, just have no 1099, some are easy to estimate.
Some I've got to find. Oh well.

Sounds like you need a file cabinet Thump! I'm guessing the stocks your misssing were Drips as you should be able to get on TD Waterhose and view your stock/div distributions for the year.
Did our taxes Saturday..Getting back more than I thought. There's a $400 credit each for those in the family that worked last year.."Making America Work" or some crazy giveaway title like that Very Happy

Mostly drips. I think Janus was here somewhere once and three came from TD Ameritrade
today but I haven't opened them yet. Helen went through and got the ones out that I have.
Now there's nothing showing through any of the windows in all the envelopes she went
through. She turned them all around so the addresses didn't show, not just 50-50 as with
luck, 100% with the addresses not showing. I've quit for today and will start again AM.

You ever get all your div/ interest statements? I think they have until Feb 15th to send those out now?

No but that was the Ameritrade 1099s that I got. I'm almost sure I got the one from
Janus but haven't found it. I'm trying to get Helen to go through the saved stuff again
but she's off loafering again today instead.

I efiled at Turbo yesterday. Not too thrilled with them now, they already knew
a lot of stuff and put it in for me. But I know that stuff to and I can type.
They tried to put a toolbar on my browser but I unchecked it. And they
made me do a captcha. I put up with that for free stuff but I'm not going to
pay somebody to treat me that way. I'll probably try Tax Act next year.

Gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best this year, got a substantial
refund coming. Made way too much and they did tax all my social security.
May have to pay some back if they refigure it.
