Left Fruitland Park anyway, still in the US until she flies out at 6:05 PM.
Arrives in Rome at 9:30 AM Thursday, best I can figure that's 3:30 AM here.
Gonna be hard to keep up with.

I hope she enjoys her trip. I can't forget what Billy Bob said about Lorna.

The plan was to hit the ground running and stay up all day today. You never know
how the plane ride was though.

I got a quick little email from her Thursday. Sounds like there's no grass growing under their feet.
Roof completed..Looks good! Going ahead with the HVAC swap out next week. This is about to be a new house.

Sounds like, glad you like it.

Got a call from Helen, no email thuogh and nothing on the pogoplug so far. Talked to
Cindy more than she did me while she was on the phone.

Cindy said the netbook didn't need the converter, the plug fit right in and it was
charging. Talked to an expert and he said it was probably fine, said most of the chargers
were the same and they sent them everywhere. It auto detects which it's on and uses
that. That sure was lucky. She's an idiot.

There headed to Venice tomorrow, quite a bil cooler there, Rome was about like East
Tennessee temperature wise.

Just got an email from Cindy (using Helen's email instead of hers). I told Helen
when she called to get Cindy to write her email so there would be a little bit.

************************************************
Tommy the hotel in Venice had a voltage converter so we used that as the one we had was loose (prongs where you plug in to outlet were loose and I was afraid I would blow up the place). We are all charged up now . . . awesome:)

Helen wants you to check her email to see if there is any spam. Cost 4 euros to get 1 hour of time on Internet so that charge will be on credit card and may get an email notification about this.

She loves you and misses you!
************************************************

I hope that's the hotem where they didn't have internet. Hope they don't lose the
pictures or videos, should have put the stuff up at the last hotel. So far nothing on
the PogoPlug over here.

She's Off To France Tomorrow

Commuters wait at subway station in Paris

Commuters wait at a subway station in Paris, as French unions launched fresh strikes to
protest a rise in the retirement age. French workers have turned up the heat on Nicolas
Sarkozy by staging a fresh one-day strike and voting on whether to turn their protest
against the president's pension reform into an indefinite stoppage.

Update: It's already tomorrow over there and they're set to fly to Paris in a few hours

French Unions to Extend Protests as Sarkozy Digs in on Pensions

French strikers are extending their protest against President Nicolas Sarkozy’s proposed overhaul of the pension system as the government rebuffed calls to drop its plan to increase the retirement age

Air France said it expects to resume normal service today, after canceling some short-haul flights yesterday.

Union representatives in other sectors will vote today on renewing the protest for another 24 hours. Tourists visiting Paris yesterday found the Eiffel Tower, the Musee d’Orsay and the Arc de Triomphe closed.

They're supposed to fly back Saturday, land in Charloote sometime and then arrive
in Orlando at 6:30 PM Saturday. Haven't heard anything else from them.
The protest continues but a few more people are drifting back to work
every day.
